Coalición de Derechos Humanos

COALITOIN_BANNER

Derechos Humanos is a grassroots organization that promotes the human and civil rights of all migrants regardless of their immigration status. Consequently, we fight the militarization of our southern border home and combat the discrimination and human rights abuses of both our citizen and non-citizen brothers and sisters.

Humane Borders

logo-dipper-line Humane Borders

Humane Borders, motivated by faith and the universal need for kindness, established a system of water stations in the Sonoran Desert on routes used by migrants making the perilous journey here on foot. Our primary mission is to save desperate people from a horrible death by dehydration and exposure. Creating a just and humane environment in the borderlands is vital to this mission. To that end, we work with government land managers and non-profit groups to make water and other lifesaving resources available to migrants on both sides of the border.

Established by artists in 1997, MOCA is Tucson’s only museum devoted exclusively to contemporary art from around the globe. Housed in a repurposed firehouse in Downtown Tucson, MOCA Tucson applies creative solutions to the problems of today and tomorrow through the vehicle of contemporary art. We create programming that is ambitious, innovative, and that is responsive to the wants and needs of our community. A pioneering museum of its kind in the community, MOCA Tucson currently hosts rotating exhibitions by locally, nationally, and internationally renowned contemporary artists—critical exhibitions that spur dialogue and that foster empathy between artists and audiences. Our bold programming is highly engaging for diverse audiences and creates a welcoming, inviting space for visitors to learn more about the changing world we live in. MOCA Tucson is an important incubator and connector for contemporary art across the Southwest region and beyond.

Stop the Hate is led by members of community organizations, Indigenous Peoples, faith-based labor, and social justice groups, deeply alarmed and concerned with the hate, bigotry and violence against the immigrant communities that have become a 'must-go-to' political scapegoat.
