Teatro Dignidad is coming to Nogales and Hermosillo, Sonora, with the Spanish-language play “Dos Nogales” by acclaimed Mexican playwright Hugo Salcedo.
This powerful production explores the harsh realities faced by those seeking refuge in the United States, shedding light on the root causes of forced migration and the immense challenges asylum seekers encounter.
A transformative theatrical experience, free of charge. Through art, discover the untold stories, the silenced voices, and the difficult choices that lead thousands to leave their homelands.
Because migrant stories matter. Because art is also a form of resistance.
Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry is proud to be a funder of this play through our Mellon-Fronteridades grant, which seeks to deepen our understanding of the U.S.–Mexico border and diversify the perspectives and narratives that shape this region.
